Rebekah Barquero

Being a full-time student and full-time employee, I think I give a perspective to those who have to balance a career and college (and family, friends, etc). Going to school is different for me than other students, but I know I'm not the only one. I live and work in downtown Houston, so I'm around it all. The music, the city life, the local artists and food. I graduated high school in another country as well, and I'm fully bilingual and a vegetarian (going on 3 and a half years). I am a Communications major, concentration in Print Media Journalism, and my minor is in Psychology. Whether I have somewhere to write or not, I'm always writing!
