Lianne Anderson

I am a Sophmore at Oxford College of Emory University. As a kid, most of my days were spent reading or writing. Through reading, I developed my imagination and an expectation for how the world should be. After middle school, my life was shaped by academics, tennis, and music. Now that I've reached college, the triangle has shifted to academics and tennis. This is why I want to be a part of the Odyssey. I miss the creativity that music provided me most of my life. I miss the days when I had time to read dozens of books every week and write every night just because I could. The Odyssey represents a voice and an outlet to return to those days and write things that other people can see and relate to.
