Our community is rather small, and it seems as if every other person knows one another. News travels fast amongst fellow community members, but never seems to leave our small corner of Northwest Indiana. Whether it be celebrating the profound achievements of an 8th grader, or seeing the united efforts of a small towns' members that worked together to bring about a change, it appears that minor, yet quite significant, events of Northwest Indiana are not commonly reported. I wish to use the Odyssey platform to shed light on fresh perspectives, representing myself as a voice of this community and expressing how diverse, cultural, and amazing Northwest Indiana really is.
