Cold weather is a short time of year for us southerners, but we intend to enjoy every moment of it.
Fall is seemingly America's favorite season, but those of us who live in the south love fall much more than the average person. We have to be patient and wait for it to actually feel like fall longer than those who live up north. We have to suffer through the 90-degree heat of August, September, and a good bit of October before we can finally get the smallest feel of the cold, crisp weather.
We southerners love when we can finally put the term "sweater weather" to good use. Our cardigans, boots, and sweaters can all come out of hibernation, and you better believe we will wear them as much as possible before the hot weather sets in once again. These are some thoughts that we have once the weather finally gets cool enough to consider it fall in the south.
