Madison Cranford

My name is Madison Cranford; I am from Covington, Tennessee and I attended Tipton-Rosemark Academy High School. I am currently a Freshman Special Education major with hopes of one day attending grad school and becoming a Speech Pathologist. Reading, writing, and watching movies– all are things that I enjoy doing. I have my own blog (well, several) where I write poetry and short prose. I have always been very interesting in pursuing writing and in sharpening the skills I already have. I was extremely involved in music and theater in high school, but have not had the opportunity to let that part of my life thrive in college. I am very interesting in keeping others up to date in what is going on in our community and strongly believe in the statement “knowledge is power.” I feel that by writing for The Odyssey, I will have the chance to let that love grow and to also let my voice be heard. I would be grateful for the opportunity.
