Kyle Smith

I began writing in junior high when I became entranced by amazing horror authors like Edgar Allan Poe and H.P. Lovecraft, I was equally entranced by old science fiction authors such as H.G. Wells. Naturally, my first writings imitated that horror and science fiction style. From there I grew in my capacity to write, simply because I tried to write and read as much as possible. While in high school I became a member of the student newspaper, and that is where I truly expanded my writing abilities. By senior year I became editor in chief of the newspaper, giving me a broad understanding of the writing process. I don't intend to make a career out of writing now (as I want to be a Forensic Scientist) but I do intend to expand my ability to write and keep up with it as a hobby.
