Christian Matthew Frost

As an individual with Cerebral Palsy, I spent much of my childhood on social and mental activities such as conversing with others about their points of view, reflecting on various types of art, and working through logic puzzles; rather than the typical physical activities most children do. These skills inspired me to take up writing as a hobby and later as an intended career. As I aspire to be a novelist one day, I'm applying to The Odyssey in the hope that it will not only refine my craft as a writer, but give me experience writing on a deadline. I intend to start out writing lighter pieces such as critiques of various media but intend to shift into heavier pieces as I hone my craft.
