Caylon Fowlkes

Odyssey presents a broad range of topics and interests, which I can relate to. I love to write and I have a wide range of interests that I would love to write about. I have completed research at Ursinus College, (and will be completing more research this summer), on topics beyond my major and even beyond what I thought I would find interesting. In all, I love reading and writing about social justice and black life, but what branches from those topics are themes like art, health, religion, and communication. These are stories that are often left unheard in popular media. I have had experience writing blogs in my Photography class and a couple of my Media and Communications classes but I am excited to have an opportunity to write blogs on personal interests; stories that many can relate to and find refreshing to read. I would also love the opportunity to play with the idea of sharing stories through photographs; this is something I enjoyed in my Photography class and would love to do again.
