Caty S. Seger

As an incoming freshman at Smith, I am very excited to get involved in campus life. I have been an avid reader and writer my whole life and hope to take those passions to Smith with me. In high school, I was editor of the yearbook and had my writing published in a school publication. I also entered the Bennington College writing contest with the help of a teacher. I am interested in literature, art, social justice, and the intersection where they all meet. I am a passionate writer and look for opportunities to write and fine tune my skills at every chance. Working for The Odyssey would be an immensely important opportunity for me, but it would allow me to work towards something bigger and work alongside talented writers and learn from them.
