The second daughter of the only daughter in a pack of boys, I was born in Tennessee to two Filipino immigrants that became physical therapists. I am currently a neuroscience-biochemistry major at Maryville College because I want to change the way that people look at mental illness like it's something beyond help. I've spent my time being quiet, so I hope that my being honest changes something.
