We are often socially pressured to write about very specific topics, such as what has recently been explosive in the news, and to be perfectly factual. Because of this, other matters in the background may not get the limelight they deserve, and news becomes an cycle of objective stories without other material to color it. I hope to use Odyssey to connect to people on an emotional, relatable level instead and to expand the horizons and the mindsets of our community. I want help people take glimpses at other people's lives, to enpathize, to find themselves through my writing, to become human again.
