Tucker Huston

I go to Lafayette College and am majoring in Creative Writing and Neuroscience in hopes of one day going off to medical school and becoming a psychiatrist. At my college I do College Democrats, Outdoors Society, LGBT Club, Feminist Club, Amnesty International, Student/Commons Council, Newspaper, Literary Magazine, Pre-Med Club and Neuroscience Club.

In high school, I was a varsity swimmer/co-captain of my high school swim team. I've done competitive swimming since I was 5 and it was a major part of my life, for most of my life. I was also the editor in chief of our school's literary magazine and won some writing awards which I'm pretty grateful. Most of my writing pieces have been either naturalistic poems or surrealist short stories.

I've been to 16 countries (so far!) and my most memorable was definitely Peru because of the volunteer work I did there at a local elementary school in Lima.

While I'm by no means an artist (the best I can do is some bad stick figures), I absolutely love going to art galleries. I have a great respect and appreciation for visual arts.

Stemming off the visual arts, I also enjoy movies. For films, I love absolutely everything by Charlie Kaufman (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was life-changing for me) but I also am a sucker for Disney/Pixar films.

I also enjoy jogging, hiking and surfing occasionally. I also love reading but have been too busy recently to do so.
