“Where am I from?”

A single simple question that I believe defines me. Throughout my entire life my family has been shipped across the Americas for my father’s career in the United States Army. This allowed me the privilege of growing up in multiple countries making the idea of a childhood home a distant fantasy. At age two I moved from Fairbanks, Alaska; to Buenos Aires, Argentina; and I haven’t stopped moving and traveling since. Fast forward to today; thirteen moves, nine schools, five countries, and a university later I’m in my sophomore year at the University of Tampa seeking a degree in Public Relations and Advertising and a proud member of Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity. So when people ask the simple question, “where are you from”, I am from each of the thirteen moves, where every town, every state, every country, has shaped me to become who I am today.
