Casadie Smith

Casadie Smith is a Kansas-based poet, feminist, self-love advocate, activist, actress, musician, and adventurer. She is currently a student at Kansas Wesleyan University, where she studies musical theatre. Her passion lies in storytelling, and her most recent project is undertaking all PR for an agro-environmental non-profit called Whispering Cottonwoods Institute, which is dedicated to the education of local youth about sustainable local food systems and environmental awareness and rescue.

Casadie has been singing since she first learned to make noise, and began writing songs as a teenager. Her love for lyricism quickly led to a deep love for writing poetry. Although she continues to write and perform music, she has developed her passion for poetry and continues to write on a daily basis. Heavily influenced by her own personal experiences, Casadie’s mission is to write with total self-awareness and honesty.

She hopes to develop her writing to bring together women in a community of self-love and feminism, and is excited that The Odyssey Online is here to help her bring this kind of positivity to a national platform!
