Anna Maria Madigan

I am currently studying at The New School with an undeclared major; however, I plan on majoring in journalism. I am taking a media studies course this semester, and next semester I will take my first official journalism course at The New School. I've always loved sharing stories and ideas with others, especially ones in which I craft with specific vocabulary. Journalism is a field where I can take my love for writing and combine it with my love for sharing in a way that could potentially make the world better. I have a deep appreciation for others' perspectives and opinion, so I enjoy working with others and getting feedback on my own performance. Being a writer at The Odyssey would be a great opportunity for me to improve upon my writing skills and use those skills to engage readers with topics I find compelling.
