I am a fourth year student at Richard Stockton University. I am literature major with minors in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Writing. As of last January I have been working as a writing tutor in the tutoring center on campus. My goal is to one day work as a children's librarian! So long as I'm surrounded by books, I'm a happy camper.
I was formerly a part of the education program, but decided to switch to Literary Studies. I plan on receiving a a Masters in Library and Information Science. Almost every person who I've ever told I would like to be a librarian to has answered "You look like a librarian." With a name like Angela, I agree that I was essentially born into the profession. An especially gorgeous library can and will make me cry.
I enjoy writing about pop culture, especially how it applies to LGBT and other social issues. I can write a mean academic paper, but I also like writing comedy and satire. It's hard for me to be a serious person all the time, so I usually opt out of it if I have the choice.
I am the resident dog enthusiast, collector of scarves and sweaters, and lover of all things covered in glitter. Disney seriously owes me loyalties for using my image as inspiration for Inside Out's Sadness.
