Tia Mele

I graduated from UConn with a B.A in English and now I'm pursuing my M.A in Creative Writing. I have a job that has nothing to do with my major, I still live with my parents, and I can't shake the feeling that I'm doing post-college wrong.

My dog is my best friend and my bunny is my favorite critique partner. I love to travel even though I'm too broke to do it. When I write I feel like I'm home no matter where I am.

YA is my passion and I was never big on personal essays until I was forced to write them for a creative writing class. Now I can't seem to stop talking about myself (just kidding, mostly).

I look forward to sharing my thoughts, stories, and life with something other than my journal. I hope what I write can help people, inspire people, or just strike a chord. Because I'm not really sure who I am, where I'm going, or what I'm doing. But I think we can figure it out together.
