Megan Jolly is a novelist and scriptwriter. During her undergrad, she studied theater and creative writing. Megan found her love of the supernatural while researching A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream for her Acting 1 class at Coker College. Ever since, she surrounded herself with the genre in the forms of literature, movies, and video games. When she transferred to Winthrop University, these creative mediums inspired her to minor in Creative Writing. There, she studied: Short Story, Poetry, Non-fiction and fiction writing. She was inspired to venture into script writing when one of her fellow peers told her, “I don’t want to read this piece as much as I want to watch it,” during one of the class workshops. Due to the fact that Winthrop did away with its scriptwriting class, she decided to pursue her masters at Full Sail University to obtain the skills necessary to pursue a career in the field. Today, she works for an SEO company called The Hoth, while working on her novel.
When Megan isn’t fabricating her own fantasy worlds, she’s most likely sipping warm, peppermint tea with a fantasy book nearby.
