Olivia Jane Hoffmeyer

My name is Olivia Jane, most people call me Liv. I am currently majoring in psychology and studying criminal justice, but I have always had a passion for writing. I grew up with mental illnesses, depression, anxiety and an bulimia/anorexia and I have recovered. I was also diagnosed by my psychologist with bipolar disorder 2. I have learned to live my life day by day and appreciate the small things. And just like everyone else here I have had friends and family pass, suicide, accidents, cancer and old age. Learning to live with loss is hard, but I got this. I feel like I could help people with my writing. I can inform people of the reality of real life issues like disorders and losses and how to learn how to live with and push through the pain. But with all my hardships, I do know more than just pain. I grew up in a small town, where the only traffic we know of is tractors and everyone knows everything about everyone. I go to school and I know the everyday college student pains and the annoyance of being broke because you can't make enough dang money at work, because most jobs won't hire you without experience from jobs that you can't get because they want you to have experience. I know a lot about relationships and love and heartbreak and I keep up with the elections and what's going on in the news. Basically I would like to be able to write for you because I feel like I have a lot to offer and I would be able to relate to people, inform them, make them laugh and help them know that they are not alone.
