Capricorn - Spring Cleaning

Capricorns are stubborn and hardworking, and like to be the best. People who annually do spring cleaning work their butt off for an entire weekend, going through the entirety of their possessions. That takes a lot of tenacity and perseverance.

Aquarius - Cropped Jeans

Aquarii are eccentric trend setters. Around this time of year, as the weather hints at getting warmer, people hint at showing skin. A trendy person will find cool ways to do that without freezing, and I feel like cropped pants are a popular trend that any fashionable aquarius will be wearing this spring.

Pisces - Vacations With Your Friends

Pisces’ are free, fun people, but they’re also always with their friends. Vacationing with friends is fun and spring break offers a perfect opportunity to do it.

Aries - A Cute Umbrella

Aries’ are bold and daring, even in the rain. A brightly colored umbrella in the pouring down rain just screams aries.

Taurus - Sand At The Beach

Tauri remind me of sand at the beach because, as much as I love the beach, sand is annoying. Tauri are lovable, reliable, and down to earth (a bit sandy there), but also stubborn. You ever go to the beach and find sand in your room a week later?

Gemini - Unpredictable Weather

Geminis are notoriously two-faced, multifaceted, and unpredictable. The springtime weather forecast can vary from cold and snowy/rainy, cloudy and chilly, warm and sunny, and everything in between.

Cancer - Baby Birds Hatching

Cancers are sensitive, protective, and emotional. They’re the types of people to see a hatching bird and try to take a photo to show their friends how cute it is.

Leo - Trees In Bloom

Leos are creative, and I think that flowers and plants are nature’s way of making art. Blooming trees are masterpieces that a leo could want to create. They are also generous, and trees, and all plants, are generous in photosynthesizing for us to breathe.

Virgo - Ice Cream At Sunset

Virgos are people pleasers. Find me someone who wouldn’t be happy eating ice cream and watching the sunset. Please.

Libra - Pastel Colors

Libras are easygoing and irresistible, just like it’s hard to pass up wearing those pretty pastel colors in the springtime. It matches the pretty plants in bloom without clashing with any of your other clothes.

Scorpio - Pollen

Scorpios are a generally disliked sign, but I think they’re just a bit misunderstood, like pollen. Scorpios are dominant, powerful people, but what’s wrong with knowing what you want and going for it? Everyone hates pollen, but you know what, pollen is making this world go around (not literally, but still, it’s quite important to our ecosystem).

Sagittarius - Thunderstorms

Sagittarii are cold, insensitive, careless, and irresponsible, just like the thunderstorms that flood the streets. But sagitarii are also optimistic and happy people, and thunderstorms help make all the other good things in spring possible, so they’re actually a good thing.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
