In college, you meet a lot of new people from in the classrooms to living around you, there are various different kinds of people. However, sometimes you can meet a certain person and build a special connection and come to realize that they are indeed your best friend. Here are some of the signs you have found your best friend in college;

1. They know who else you hang out with.

They know your usual group of friends and if you start forcing yourself to fit in with a group of people, they will know. They know you and they know who you tend be around.

2. They know your music.

Whether it's your taste in Jonas Brothers or trap music they play at frat parties, they will sing along with you or at least bop their head to it.

3. They love to hang out with you.

Whether it's grabbing lunch in the cafe or running with you to class, they want to be with you!

4. You can call them in the middle of the night.

It's fine to call them and cry about boys. Also invite them to order pizza and come over. It's 3AM here but it's 3PM somewhere else right?

5. You have inside jokes.

Remember that one time she dated that guy? Remember that stupid thing that happened that one time? Of course, you do. You were there.

6. They lift your mood.

They can put you in a good place when you are feeling your worst. They can turn that frown upside down.

7. They support you.

They will tell you if you're wrong and then support you if you find yourself in a tough situation. They will stand by you until the end.

When you look at who you consider to be your best friend, you should want them for everyone because your best friend is such a great friend. I can only hope that everyone in college finds someone close to them that they consider to be a best friend.

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
