Christ-centered relationships are one of the greatest gifts in this world. When you find a man/woman who loves God more than he/she loves you, you've hit the jackpot. When I first heard that, I was kind of taken back. "I want a man to love me over everything." Then, I realized that a man who loves God more than he loves you can love you more than any person or thing on this earth. I don't know anyone who wouldn't want that, that is just so powerful.

A friend of mine once wrote, "Christ wants you to fall in love with Him first and be romanced by Him first. Until then, you'll never fully understand true, constant, giving, and all merciful love." If that's not the truth, I don't know what is! There is such beauty in getting to know Jesus and focusing all of your being on Him and letting yourself be fully known and fully loved by Him.

I can speak from personal experience that when you give yourself time to seek out God, you become a lot more whole and don't have to rely on a significant other to satisfy your being. God wants to love us and we can never fully be loved by another human until we know the love our Savior has for us. A relationship isn't two halves of people completing each other. It's two whole people in Christ who know their worth from their Creator and can love each other even more because of it.

Do yourself a favor, whether single, dating, or married, say a prayer asking God to reveal Himself to you and give you an opportunity to seek Him out. Things like this usually happen in tiny ways, so don't sit around waiting for a miracle. Get out into the world and open your eyes to the things of God.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
