It's the home stretch and all you can think about is going home, playing with your dogs, waking up in the late afternoon and eating a bacon and egg sandwich. But we're almost done with the week and you need to get up for the first final of Thursday morning.
You stayed up last night working on a group project with two of you group members. The completion essay was only supposed to be four pages long, but your group managed a 15-page report.
Getting to class, you have the entire project. 8-page newsletter, 15-page completion report, and another 24 pages of extra content.
You begin to reflect on how hard you worked on this project, and how this isn't the end of the class.
The final exam beings in T-5 minutes and all you've got is a peppermint, blue pen, and a prayer that the Finals Gods are shining in your favor.
As you leave the room, you're confident you killed that final and head to Starbucks for celebratory coffee.
But the line is too long so you go to Einstein's instead.
Luckily it's right next to mass media so it's no biggy to just stop by Mass Media Technology hall and finish up that final paper due in three hours.
You're beginning to fly through revisions and see that your paper is shaping out nicely.
You finish up the paper half an hour before the paper is due, and take some time to relax.
You make your way to class, turn in the paper
And start to study for your last exam in the morning.
An hour into studying you remember the new Game of Thornes episode aired on Sunday
And the entire learning process has been derailed.
The break lasted almost three hours...
The following day is Friday and your last final is at 8a.m.
The following morning comes quickly. You've finally got a little pep in your step because as soon as this final ends, you get to hit the road!
As you walk out of your final at 10 a.m. you feel on top of the world.
It takes almost an hour to move out of the room, and another to clean the room.
Checkout goes smoothly and you're on your way to the beach!
Finals week is quickly approaching. Remember to take some time to for yourself and relax.
