FX's "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" is about a ragtag bunch of selfish, narcissistic friends who (more or less) manage a bar in South Philadelphia. None of them finished college, with a few not having attended at all, but that doesn't mean that we can't relate to their struggles in our scholarly lives. Take a look at all of the ways that the Paddy's Pub gang represents your college life.
1. When your friend asks you what you're doing that Saturday afternoon
2. Your response to the people who expect you to be employed straight out of school
3. When your friends express their concern about how often you talk about that cute guy or girl in your class
4. When you're trying to study in your dorm, but everyone on your floor is being really loud
5. When your friend calls you out on always wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt to class and you get defensive
6. "Why are you still single?"
7. When you take your class's Jeopardy review game a bit too seriously
8. Thinking you avoided the latest round of plague at your school only to find you were sadly mistaken
9. When you're in your last class on Friday afternoon and can't focus because you're thinking about your weekend plans
10. "Hey, can you spot me $5?"
11. Finding out your friends went partying without inviting you
12. When you get your exam back and see that you didn't fail
13. Watching all of the drunks walking around town on a Saturday night
14. Trying to explain to the weird guy that keeps hitting on you in the bar why you won't go out with him sometime
15. When you spend the days leading up to finals studying without taking any breaks
16. Reading over a paper you wrote last-minute and cringing at how bad it is
17. Making eye contact with your friend as you get swept away into the crowd at a party
18. When you have someone over and they ask what food you've got in your fridge, and you haven't gone shopping in over a week
19. Hearing stories about the stupid things you're told you did the night before
20. Having good times with your friends that you'll remember even after you graduate
Take some advice from our Philadelphia pals (preferably on the weekends only) and crack open a few cold ones, kick back, and relax with your best buds while you've still got 'em.
