You Really Are Nick And Schmidt

"New Girl" has been a sensation across the internet and articles lately. So if you watch "New Girl," you have probably identified with Nick or Schmidt at one point or another. I mean, they're hilarious, so who wouldn't? You probably even think you and your friend or BFF are actually them. But really, you and your boyfriend are them. Think about it.

1.You do the most ridiculous things together and don't even realize it until you're telling the story to someone else later.

2. You have to fist-bump after doing something awesome, it's like a golden rule.

3. You know everything and anything about each other. You know them like the back of your hand. The good, the bad, the weird, all of it.

4. You start out with a simple squeeze or tickle, but really, tickling fights turn a bit aggressive.

5. You literally talk all day every day. It's weird when you don't send each other texts.

6. Sometimes we're too honest. But that's OK.

7. Sometimes we're needy. By needy, I mean me. Schmidt is needy. I am him.

8. We try to go out to dinner for a nice date. When it's not fine dining at McDonald's, we try to go out to nice places.

9. Sometimes when it's a long-distance relationship or they go on vacation, not seeing them sucks.

10. When I have to defend being emotional to my boyfriend.

11.When your boyfriend uses your things in the shower because "they smell nicer."

12. Your boyfriend knows how you are, especially around that time of the month. I am sorry in advance for being delicate and emotional.

13. We bounce ideas and conversations off of each other ... no matter how dumb. Maybe even help each other finish ... sentences.

No matter what, I will always feel like I'm the luckiest girl and try to give my boyfriend what he deserves. We really are Nick and Schmidt, maybe there's even some Winston too.

When I was learning how to talk, I was taught both Portuguese and English at the same time. In elementary school, I started taking mandatory Spanish classes, which I did well in because of my knowledge of Portuguese. Then in high school, on top of taking Spanish, I also started taking French. Now, in college, already fluent in English and Portuguese, I'm in the process of becoming fluent in Spanish, and I have a standard high school level understanding of French.

I am without a doubt one of those people who refuses to start decorating for Christmas or listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, Thanksgiving has become an underrated holiday over the years. You barely see any Thanksgiving decorations in stores; it's like they skip right from Halloween to Christmas.

Some universities only get two or three days off for Thanksgiving break. Or, if your university is like mine, you get the whole week off go go home. A whole week off is a long time. I'm not complaining, because I'd rather have a whole week off than three days, but there is a lot of down time. Here are some ideas as to what you can do to get the most out of your Thanksgiving break.

For college students everywhere, Thanksgiving is a time to relax and not really worry about homework (well, depending on what major you're in).
