We've all been there... we've all felt completely burnt out and had no desire to do anything just because we were simply tired. However, being lazy is a totally different thing. Laziness is having the energy to do something, but totally lacking the drive to get up off the couch and get going.

Laziness is wearing unmatched socks because you don't really feel like finding pairs. Laziness is literally wanting to do nothing even though you could do anything you want.

Here are 10 instances you can totally relate to if you identify yourself as a lazy person!

You Know You're Lazy When...

1. You put on your exercise clothes and then lay down on the couch and never make it to the gym

2. You determine your class schedule off of the distance between each academic building and the time you have to walk there

3. Your house has a refrigerator full of food but you still pick up take-out because you don't feel like cooking

4. You ask your friend to pick up your papers from the front of the class so you don't have to get up

5. You have to use the bathroom but just hold it as long as possible because the bathroom seems really far away

6. Your closet is basically on the floor because who has time to hang up everything?

7. Dishes tend to pile up in the sink until you can't even run the water

8. All of your notes are typed because handwriting takes way to long

9. You drive everywhere because why would you walk when you have wheels?

10. You choose to not bring your textbooks to class (even though you need them) because they're really heavy

So, on a scale of 1-10 how lazy are you?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
