Oh, NEPA. The valley that I've grown up in. There are so many different unique qualities native to this area, and between the endless mountains, beautiful Autumns, and waterfalls there are some things that almost every person from NEPA knows:
1. Everyone complains about how they want to leave the valley, yet they never do.
2. There is nothing to do around you but eat and shop.
3. Cherokee Red soda was a part of your childhood.
4. Middleswarth chips are at every family gathering.
5. The infamous "youse guys" is heard around every turn.
6. The hardest decision you have to make is you would rather go to Sheetz, Wawa, or Turkey Hill.
7. The bipolar weather drives you crazy.
8. Is it "creek" or "crick"?
9. Potholes are literally your worst enemy.
10. Road work never ends or progresses.
11. Hiking and fishing are summer must do's.
12. You pronounce Scranton as 'Scrant-in'
13. Fairs get you extremely hyped for summer.
14. Fire pits are the ultimate summer hangout.
15. Hunting season is almost considered a holiday.
