Everyone, or at least almost everyone, has that friend who means literally everything to them! Who they can tell their deepest, darkest, and most personal secrets to. Who you would probably send to an insane asylum if anyone ever listened to or read the conversations you two have. Some of us, though, have a best friend who lives thousands of miles away, and in a completely different state. My best friend lives in Wisconsin, and it is pretty evident that she does too! So here are some ways to know that your best friend is from Wisconsin!

1. Her family roots for Green Bay

It kills you to admit it, but alas, her family are Green Bay Packer fans, much to your distaste. You'd rather despise the team, especially after they kicked Pittsburgh's butt during Super Bowl XLV, and your bestie secretly was pulling for your team. You still love her even though her family pulls for one of your sport's enemies.

2. She thinks weather in the 60's is shorts weather.

You live in the south, so 60 something degree weather is thin-long-sleeve shirt and jeans weather. You complain about it being cold while your best friend is out wearing short-sleeves and shorts back where she is. Crazy, right? Though, you laugh when the next day the Wisconsin weather is back into the 30's and 40's. Then you realize that the same thing is basically happening to you. Karma sucks, but she gets the last laugh!

3. The farm life

Sure, you know about life on a farm, but you didn't have to live life on a farm. She knows how everything works, from farm equipment to how to take care of the animals. You, on the other hand, just know the minute basics. Regardless, it's always fun to talk about farm stuff, especially when it comes to farm animals! Moo!

4. Cheese

Oh the cheese. Cheese if life! She absolutely loves cheese, and could even live off of it for the rest of her life if it wasn't bad for you to do that. You love cheese, but not to the extent of your cheese-head bestie. She can name many different types of cheeses whereas you can only name cheddar, colby, and American. It makes for great conversation at random hours of the night.

There are so many other ways of knowing that your best friend is from Wisconsin, but these four are the most evident! I love her so much and cannot wait until she and I are no longer super poor and can actually go visit one another, but, for now, texting, Skype, and phone calls will just have to do!
