To My Parents, The Two Most Exceptional People In This World

Writing this article is so extremely hard for me because I don't know where to start and I know that an article isn't enough to capture how amazing you guys are and how much you guys mean to me. I would give up a million dollars for you guys and even that isn't enough.

Ever since day one, you guys have been my biggest cheerleaders who are constantly cheering me on even when I'm not doing so great. From all of our fun road trips to helping me reach my dreams, there are no two people who are more supportive in my life than you guys.

There's a saying, "you learn something new everyday." I am constantly learning something new everyday whether it be how to cook a recipe or what I can do to help me in my future careers.

I know that everything you guys do for me will be solely be to benefit me in the future even if I don't realize it now. You guys have given up so much in your life so that I can succeed and have showed no regrets in doing so. You have showed me what true love is and that love is unconditional. You've seen me at my weakest and strongest but never stopped loving me. You have pushed me to overcome many of life's challenges and showed me how to be brave and bold.

I've come so far this crazy journey called life and now I'm a junior. Which means that soon I'll be leaving the house and I'll be on my own. I know that as parents you guys will worry and constantly keep thinking about my well-being. But, I want you to know that you guys have done your very best to make me who I am today and that no matter how far away I am from you, I'll always be thinking about you too. I would most definitely not be where I am without your support and presence.

Thank you for being the very best role models and always believing in me.

Lots of love,

Srihitha

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
