You know how a lot of people have to choose between having a social life, work, and school? Well, I am here to tell you that that is false and I am living proof of it. I manage to have all three of them and not be stressed out. There is no big secret to it either, and I have compiled a list for you that are some major keys to how I do it.

1. Keep A Planner And To-do List In The Same Place

Out of all of the suggestions I am going to give you, this is probably the second most important. Typically every Sunday, I sit down and look at my calendar for the week and write the important events down in my planner (i.e. classes, meetings, etc.). From there, I keep in mind how busy my job is and make a daily to-do list of what I need to do for school and myself. When I am done doing this, I see how much me time I can have because this is very important. After you have evaluated your week, you can maybe schedule in social time with friends, family, or your significant others.

2. Avoid Unhealthy Food

According to www.mequilibrium.com, when you have an unhealthy diet, you have twice the amount of stress versus when you have a healthy diet. In addition to this, your body will also want to snack more because it is going insane and that is how it copes with stress. When your body goes into this mode, you should really try and swap out the unhealthy foods with fruits and veggies. This will also, in turn, give your body more energy.

3. Get A Proper Amount Of Sleep

Everyone requires different amounts of sleep and by this point in your life, you should know how much that is because not everyone needs eight hours of sleep. Some people need more, some less. Sleep is very important for maintaining yourself because it gives your body time to recharge and your brain to shut down.

4. Do Not Fall Behind In Your Class Work

If anything, you should try and keep ahead because the more you're ahead, the less work you will have to do, the more time you will have to focus on work and your social life. Also, at the end of the semester, your mind will thank you because you won't have to worry about tying up any projects and you will be able to purely focus on preparing for all of those tests.

Now, I am not saying these four tips are the only answers for managing your life. There are plenty more things that I use and that others use. These are the four main points that I use in my life and some of you as individuals may have to alter how you go about doing them to make them useful for you.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
