I know how hard it gets sometimes. I know you're tired. I know you want to quit but don't you dare.

I want you all to take a minute and reflect on why you chose your major. I want you to remember how happy it makes you. I want you to remember every single thing it means to you. I want you to know your why.

I want you to remember your younger self, you owe it to them to push through this. You need to make your younger self proud. You could be on a completely different path right now, but you're not. You are at this point in your life because you were meant to be. So don't you dare give up now. You're stronger than you think you are.

Next, I want you to think about what your life is going to look like five years down the road. I want you to envision the first day at your dream job. I want you to picture how happy you are going to be. I want you to think about how fulfilled you will feel. If you quit now, you will never be able to feel just how good that feels. I need you to work hard because you owe it to your future self. Hard work always pays off.

So before you give up on studying for that exam, think about all that you have to lose and all that you have to gain. You are the creator of your own story and you have the pen in your hands. Write a story you're proud of and don't give up until you are finished. Remember the quote "don't cry to give up, cry to keep going...You're already in pain, get a reward from it".

I know school can be brutal at times, but you really can do it as long as you believe in yourself. Promise me you'll believe in yourself because you're capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for.
