Has anyone ever been able to take control of your state of being? Well, the answer is no. You can allow people to influence how you feel, but ultimately you are the only person capable of feeling for yourself. Therefore, regardless of what happens, the choice to feel or be however you want is up to you.
If you are in a rough spot in your life, it is only an indication of where your thoughts are, and what your focus has been. It is your guidance system showing you where you are in relationship to what you want, and helping you realize more of what you desire. By focusing on what you want, not from a place of lack, but from a place of excitement of knowing you can achieve it, you will attract like feelings and circumstances into your experience. "Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics." - Albert Einstein
It's about focus and momentum. The more you use your awareness to focus on more positive and beneficial thoughts, the more ease you will have achieving those thoughts and feelings, and the closer your frequency will match that of which you want. There is nothing wrong in having thoughts that do not bring you joy because you gain more clarity on what you want with every contrasting experience. The more conscious you are about these thoughts, however, the more easily you can focus on the desire that the undesired thoughts have given you, and expand to a better place, as opposed to staying in the problem.
Changing your state of mind starts off as just a feeling, but when you stick with it, and simply allow yourself to feel better, you will begin to see the changes in your life as well. There is an ebb and flow to life, so accept the ebb that comes into your life because it is inevitable, but then consciously choose to go with the flow and you will! Trust the process and enjoy the journey!
Mindartists tip: before you get out of bed, consciously think of something that makes you feel good. It could be something funny that happened in the past, an event you're looking forward to in the future, or being grateful for something that you have in the present moment. Starting your day with positive momentum is a great way to begin your day on the right foot, and attract the state of mind you want!
