You Are The Actor, Director, And Producer Of The Show Called Reality

Don't blame the audience for a bad show.

We are the actors, directors, and producers, of the show called Reality. "What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create." There is no he, she, or them in that quote, because YOU create your reality. Every aspect of it is attracted to you, by you. Don't blame the audience for a bad show, but don't beat yourself up about it either.

We all learn and grow from what we perceive as "a bad show". Whether we know it or not, when we create something we do not like, there is a tremendous amount of growth and expansion that occurs. From that moment we can choose to go with that expansion, and focus on what that event has inspired us to desire, or stay where we are, in the show that we created that we do not want to tune in to. What is perceived as a negative event helps us realize that we want to change the channel, but few do because it is easier to stay where we are than consciously focus somewhere else long enough to see the results that we want.

Changing our reality to make us feel better takes no time at all. It happens as soon as we think another thought that is better than the one before. To see different experiences however, those positive thoughts must have enough momentum to change our dominant thought patterns, and our inner state of being.

Our inner state of being is a direct reflection of what we experience in our lives. In order to change our inner state and our experiences in ways that please us more, we must focus not on what it is that we want to change, but on what it is that we want to manifest, or on something that makes us feel good. Focusing on what is will only give us more of what is. The reason it is so difficult for many to change their circumstances is because we tend to focus on reality, the show we've already created, as oppose to the sequel that we want to create.

Mindartists tip: Next time you are aware that you are triggered or not feeling good, take a step back, and consciously change the channel by focusing on things that please you, or try to view the situation in a way that will bring you more ease. Be aware of your feelings this week so that any sign of discomfort brings you awareness which can allow you to tune in to another show that you intentionally want to produce.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
