I wish you knew.

An Open Letter To Everyone Who Needs To Know They're Loved
UA Alpha Omicron Pi

This is for anyone who needs it.

I wish you knew how loved you are, how special you are.

Chances are if you’re reading this, you have no idea who I am, we’ve never spoken and honestly, we probably won’t, but, just know that I love you. He loves you. That’s no secret.

I wish everyone knew that they were here for a reason. Everyone has a purpose. No one is perfect, that’s something that is constantly repeated day in and day out by various celebrities, music artists, your teachers, parents, and even friends. It’s a hard lesson to learn though, not one that we really want to try and understand.

I wish you knew how insane you are, but in a good way. You’re crazy and funny and so imperfect, but that’s what makes you unique. It’s what makes you, you. It’s so amazing. You’re amazing.

I wish you knew that the hurt you’re going through right now is only temporary. It goes away…eventually. It’s not an instant action, it takes time to heal, for your heart to mend back to being whole. That pain you feel deep in the pit of your stomach goes away with time. You may not see it now, but just trust me.

I wish you knew that you can’t fix everything, no matter how hard you try. Not every relationship is meant to be mended and fixed. Not everyone you meet is meant to stay in your life forever. It’s sad but it’s the truth. I’m sorry if I was the first to tell you, but I won’t be the last.

I hope you know that this isn’t the end. Life goes on. I hope you know that I love you more than you will ever know. I hope you know that even if we don’t know each other, that you know that you are so special to me.

I wish you knew that. I hope you know that.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
