Remember, you are capable of anything. Anything.
Maybe you've been told time and time again that you CAN'T do something because you don't have the ability. You're too shy to make friends. You can't go to graduate school because of your grades. You are never going to find a good job because of your criminal record.
Why do we listen to other people when they tell us what we can and can't do? What makes their opinions more valid than our own? When do we stop listening to them and actually think about what we are capable of doing?
Maybe there are real, insurmountable barriers that prevent you from achieving your goals. Financial barriers are real. Societal barriers are real. Just always remember that you are worth more than the roadblocks in the way. Things won't always be this way.
Yes, these things might make your goals harder. But the only thing stopping you is YOU. There is a way to work around almost everything, even if it might seem impossible.
I didn't even think I'd get through college for a while, but here I am. I'm thriving.
YOU are a badass. Make sure you believe it.
