We are always on our path. In every moment we are doing the best we can, and following our guidance to the best of our abilities. There are times when we focus on the mistakes we seemed to have made to the point we become oblivious to the perfection of the universe delivering to us exactly what we are asking and ready for. The paths we take always guide us to where we need and want to go. The question is, how much debris are you putting on it?
The opportunities we are all given to clear the debris from our path is equal. We always have the choice to clear our path and make the walk of life easier. However, when times are tough, and the momentum is already built, we so often continue throwing debris on our path to trip over later. That being said, those moments we trip are often the ones that wake us up and make us aware that we need to put in the work to realize the life we want, and eventually come to realize the life we wanted was right before us, we just weren't able to see it then.
How can we begin to clear our path so we can realize the one we're on is divine before we fall? Well, if negative momentum builds the debris, positive momentum needs to begin in order to create the wind to blow it off our path. It takes work to build that positive momentum and begin to translate that into something in which we can see and steadily feel when coming from a place of great contrast, but work doesn't have to be hard and painful.
Our work is to seek and feel relief whenever possible and release resistance. When we are focused on the problem, our job is to either focus on a subject that gives us a sense of ease and joy, or focus on the solution. It's our thoughts that need our attention, not the reality that has already been created. Consciously choosing better feeling thoughts and perspectives is like giving yourself a broom or vacuum to clear your path instead of bending down one by one to try to pick up the debris and getting all bruised up along the way.
