Across the world, there are millions of college students, learning and growing, developing their minds to eventually succeed in their career field and fulfill their dreams. However, just because we share the common ground of being students doesn't mean we all think the same.
After coming across an article published in 2010 by Katherine Schulten, I was curious to see what my own answers would be to these questions that students like myself, a Nichols College junior, aren't asked that often. It makes us think--which helps us grown. Take a peek at these interesting questions along with my answers. Student or not, take a look and get your wheels turning.
1. How Should Parents Handle a Bad Report card?
Rather than disciplining a child, talk to them. Focus on the importance of doing well in school rather than the repercussions of doing poorly.
2. When Do You Remember Learning a New Word?
I remember learning the word "Serendipity" in the spring of my freshman year. A couple months later I got it as a tattoo because I loved it so much.
3. How Would You Like to Help Our World?
Our environment. The world is such a beautiful place. We need to take better care of it.
4. Do You Have a Tutor?
I did throughout high school. Now I have a mentor.
5. To What Piece of Technology Would You Write a ‘Love Letter’?
My laptop. Not only can I search the web, but instead of recording my thoughts illegibly on paper I can type as fast as my thoughts and it is twice as neat.
6. How Do You Use Wikipedia?
Usually when I am searching for a celebrity's birthday.
7. Should All Students Get Equal Space in a Yearbook?
Yes. You were still there even if you didn't participate.
8. What Are Your Personal Superstitions?
Never put shoes on the table.
9. Should Stores Sell Violent Video Games to Minors?
Not at all.
10. How Much Food Does Your Family Waste?
We shop daily and have a dog whose eyes are bigger than her stomach, so not much.
11. Which Pop Music Stars Fascinate You?
Lady Gaga. She sings to my soul.
12. Would You Vote This Year If You Could?
I did! My first time ever.
13. What Would You Ask President Obama?
What does he consider his biggest strength and weakness?
14. What Would You Risk Your Life For?
My family and closest friends.
15. Where in the World Would You Like to Get Lost?
The hot springs in Iceland.

Marketing and Education.

Nope.

Never! I would much rather read a book in my hands.

They showed me how to conduct myself around others and explained what the right behavior was.

You get what you pay for...So I'm guessing not so well.

I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Social media account should be suspended.

Drink lots of water, don't eat after six in the evening and that weight lifting is more important than cardio.

I would think so.

Invisibility.
34. What Advice Would You Give Younger Kids About Middle or High School?
This isn't it. What is going on right now in your social life won't matter in five years. Stay focused on being you.

That I traveled the world, was known as kind soul, and that my profession was a CMO for a global Fortune 500 company.

Not as bad as they used to be. Well....my mom...a little over protective.

I already did this thankfully, but I looked for my major and toured each school.

Drake and Beyoncé albums and The Weeknd Concert. All movies because I am a movie buff.

I was in my living room with my mom when I found out, I was little.

I have one year left and dreading that I also have one year left.

Not necessarily for the most part, but just because you study doesn't mean you will do well.
