On Tuesday, October 10th, a viral video from Mr. Joshua R. Pyne emerged of an inebriated man on the L Train, downward to Brooklyn, blatantly using racial slurs towards a group of African American teenage boys.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m., as you can see, in the video footage, the drunk bigot drinking a can of Lime-A-Rita. As the bigot continued to shout the racial slur, passengers of the train became infuriated with his actions and wanted him thrown off the train immediately. The bigot thought that just because he is a lawyer and an NYU Law Grad, he could talk crap about anyone.
WRONG!!!
The L Train passengers eventually pushed him off the train and onto the platform, and you can see New York native, activist, and musician, Princess Nokia, throwing her soup at him towards the end of the video.
You can see Princess Nokia's summary of the events below:
this bigot called a group of teenage boys "n*****s" on the train so I stood up and slapped him and everybody on the train backed me up https://t.co/T6BpDMENIj

When I slapped him he called me a n****r, and when I did all my brothers on the train came to my side and held my hand and comforted me https://t.co/T6BpDMENIj

although painful and humiliating we stood together and kicked this disgusting racist off the train so we could ride in peace away from him https://t.co/T6BpDMENIj

And yes I threw hot soup in this mans face and kicked him off off the train , and kicked in the face.
Any other racists wanna try us again? https://t.co/T6BpDMENIj

I truly applaud Princess Nokia and the passengers of this L Train for standing up against bigotry and white supremacy. Too often bigots and white supremacists get too comfortable and need to be reminded that they do not rule this country, love and peace does!
If we want to continue to fight against bigotry and white supremacy, it first starts with awareness, then unity, and an execution of a plan to bring these hateful beings off of their pedestals. There is no one superior race in this world. We are all human, we are made of the same flesh and blood as the brother or sister who is next to us. No matter the color of our skin, our sexual orientation, religion, or how we choose to live our lives, we have no need to be malicious towards one another.
There needs to be a world of love, peace, and understanding among all races, cultures, and backgrounds. We can no longer let white supremacy win or continue to reign with power, despite the White House having a white supremacist running the country. We still have the power to strike down anyone who speaks of malicious intent towards another person and try to instill peace, love, and equality for all.
