Born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, Florida rapper gained a fan base from his combination of hip-hop and emo beats. His music revolved around mental illness, suicide, extreme misogyny and a prevailing feeling of numbness. Much controversy surround the rapper yet, his success seemed to only grow more. Growing up ,he was constantly in trouble for violent behaviour, and was at one point expelled from school for beating up another student.
By the time he was 17, he had already been charged with possession of a firearm, armed robbery, resisting arrest and Xanax possession. He had done two spells in juvenile detention and during the second one, violently beat a cellmate who he believed to be gay. According to an interview he gave in the Miami New Times, when his mother asked him what had happened he said: "I had to crack his head open."

After he left juvenile prison, he began making music, mostly underground mixtapes with minor mainstream appeal. But in 2016 Onfroy's profile started to rise thanks to the online success of his song Look At Me!, a track with violent lyrics that set the tone for that part of his career. He worked with Diplo, among other big names and eventually released two albums, the second of which "?" went to number one.
At this time, Onfroy started a relationship with a woman who he violently abused. According to court documents he variously stomped on her head, held her head, strangled, kicked and punched her. He would also make repeated threats of suicide, often coming close to killing himself in front of her. Later, the woman became pregnant and Onfroy continued to brutally beat her and briefly kidnapped her.
Onfroy was arrested for these crimes, as well as other charges and placed initially under house arrest and then in prison. Onfroy was charged with witness tampering, and was accused of pressuring his ex-girlfriend to drop the charges against him. He made some attempts to rehabilitate his image, at one point claiming to donate $100,000 to a domestic violence charity – although it's disputed whether he actually did.
Now, what theory is there about this rapper? Well, it was reported on June 18, 2018, Onfroy was leaving a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach when he was shot by two assailants in a dark-colored SUV in an apparent robbery. Several videos were put up on social media showing X's slumped over body in the SUV. However, some internet sleuths say otherwise. The following videos have several noticeable differences that contradict what was reported. Check out the videos if you can take a look at this video and compare it to this one.

Did you spot anything unusual? How about the fact there was no blood or bullet holes in the car or him? Reports vary, but some stating that he was shot in the head or multiple times; However, both videos don't have a hint of gun violence. In some videos his hair is as blonde, but he recently dye his hair blue.In one video the body will be wearing red pants while in others, he'll wear black shorts. Also, remember that clock tattoo on his face, where did it go?
Why would this be though? It could be a sick joke of recreating an accident or maybe it's just a publicity stunt. A publicity does seem plausible as most know that XXXtentacion isn't a stranger to them. Before it was remove, The provocative clip, posted Wednesday (August 23), shows the top of what looks like X's head shortly before a dangling body is seen swinging from a tree branch. Several fans of the rapper quickly expressed concern, seemingly unsure of the authenticity of the grim visual.
X resurfaced on social media hours later to let the world know the scene was from a forthcoming music video and berated those who didn't "catch on." "It was a prop for my music video," X said in a livestream. So, is this just another stunt? Do you want to dig deeper into this rabbit hole? For now, all we can say is R.I.P to the memory of an artist who is gone...for now.
