Calling all fiction writers! If you're suffering from a nasty case of writer's block, then keep reading. Here's a list of interesting writing prompts I've stumbled upon. I hope this helps!

1. "I am either going out for ice cream, or to commit a heinous crime. I'll decide in the car." 

2. "That was the night when I finally understood why people fear silence." 

3. "A little girl is terrified of the monster under her bed, but what she doesn't know is that the monster under her bed protects her from the true monsters - her parents." 

4. "If we were all forced to wear a warning label, what would yours say?" 

5. "You live in a world in which you can buy bottled emotions." 

6. "Last night, the sun didn't set. It fell." 

7. "You get a deep cut for the first time in your life. Instead of seeing bone or muscle, you see wires." 

8. "You have a friend who constantly apologizes for things that couldn't possibly be their fault. Then you find out it is. All of it." 

9. "She was finally happy, so of course she's dead now." 

10. "She added a charm to her bracelet for every life that she took."

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
