The final episode of the teen drama "One Tree Hill" ended with a bang in 2012, leaving fans heartbroken and reminiscing over 10 years spent invested in the lives of their favorite characters. We have watched these characters grow from troublesome high schoolers trying to find their way to adults trying to build a successful future.

Whatever your thoughts may be regarding the way their lives eventually played out, it's fair to say we can all agree that wild and carefree cheerleader become fashion designer and entrepreneur Brooke Davis had one of the most brilliant transformations of all. Her struggles were realistic. She was realistic, a soul yearning to feel some sense of belonging in the world and attempting to cover it up with shallowness and pride.

There's something to learn in every aspect of her journey, as beautiful and heart wrenching as it was. Here are nine wise words of wisdom from the fan favorite brunette:

1. "People are gonna label you. It's how you overcome those labels. That's what matters."

2. "You know, when I was a freshman I wasn't a very good person. I mean, sure, I was popular and dated seniors... but as a person, I was pretty lost. And over the last four years, I've been forced to grow up. I stopped letting boys define me, and I started believing in myself and in my potential..."

3. "Do you know what my mother said to me when I said I wanted to start a company? She said 'your chances are one in a million.' And I said 'maybe I'm that one,' and she said 'you're not.' And she was wrong. And whatever she thought she saw in me, was wrong. Because I am one in a million..."

4. "Once you lose yourself you have two choices: find the person you used to be, or lose that person completely."

5. "Anyway here's all you really need to know about today: if you're fat, dumb, sexual and a guy, that's ok. If you're a girl, not so much. Please tell me that's changed in the future. And somebody please tell me you've got love figured out, because I've got news for you, it's pretty darn messy right now..."

6. "People always leave... but sometimes... they come back."

7. "If you had a friend you knew you'd never see again, what would you say? If you could do one last thing for someone you love, what would it be? Say it. Do it. Don't wait. Nothing lasts forever."

8. "Life kicks you around sometimes. It scares you and beats you up, but there's a day when you realize you're not just a survivor, you're a warrior. You're tougher than anything it throws your way. You are."

9. "Everyone should have that. A place that makes them happy."

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
