Women's Rights Are In Jeopardy All Around The World And There Must Be A Change

Women should be treated as equal to men. Women do many things that were not allowed to do a hundred years ago, but women are still fighting for their rights. Women were found in many work areas such as school, colleges, military, workforces, medical areas and everywhere they can prove themselves. But sometimes they were pushed down and put them in a corner.

They do not deserve this. They are also human beings as everyone else. Some part of the world, there are still men treat women very poorly. There is also domestic violence. Men would hit women so badly. Sometimes they cannot say outside that they were treated so badly. This society still judges some women.

She should wear makeup so no one could judge her scars and pimples.

She should wear her favorite shorts and dresses because this society will judge her attitude and character.

She should be the most desirable girl in this world, so a random guy from nowhere could marry her and give her a life and a status in this society.

She should not raise her voice because this society will only listen to her when she supports her husband no matter what.

She should go to school and come back home safely.

Women were always portrayed like this in society. Why women were always portrayed as she should always seem to ask help from men. Doesn't she have her own mind? Doesn't she have her own heart which always says that this can't be her? Doesn't she have the spirit to fight for herself in this society no matter what? Why these societies always putting women down and whatever unexpected things happen to her why this society blame her?

Can these questions be answered? No. Only the future can say what held for women.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
