To Dad:
If I had one more minute with you, I would tell you about my major change. How I decided to switch from education to public relations. How I have found a new passion and I'm working every day to achieve my new goals.
If I had one more minute with you, I would tell you that I have become this badass kickboxer. Kickboxing has helped me meet so many new people and grow so much.
If I had one more minute with you, I would tell you that I made the move of a lifetime. I decided I wanted something, and I went for it. It wasn't the traditional path, but I set my mind to it, and I made it.
If I had one more minute with you, I would tell you all about the incredible people that I have met in the past couple years. How they have helped me grow, and how I have helped them.
If I had one more minute with you, I would tell you how much I appreciated all the support you gave me in sports growing up. Driving me to all the practices and coming to every game, meet, or recital. You always pushed me to be the best I could.
If I had one more minute with you, I would tell you that I miss seeing your latest project around the house. I miss coming home to your excitement about whatever was going to be taking up the house for the next few months. Those days were the best days because we all got a new adventure for a little while.
If I had one more minute with you, I would tell you thank you, for teaching me how to enjoy the small things in life. The horseback rides, the road trips out to random restaurants in small towns and just an afternoon with the family around a fire.
If I had one more minute with you, I would tell you that you prepared me so well for this life when I didn't even realize it. I watched you in all of your struggles, and you persevered in the most positive and admirable way possible.
If I had just one more minute with you, these are all the things I would tell you. Every day is a new day with new challenges, all I wish I could share with you. I know I'll see you again, but until then I'll just be missing you.
