Winter In Westeros

Winter (War) has come to Westeros and it's looking like it'll be a big one!

If you are like me and have been following Game Of Thrones like it's your job, you know that the producers finally released a trailer and announced a premiere date for season 7; July 16, 2016!

The trailer opens with a Danerys voiceover as the camera pans over statues of her dragons, looking menacing as ever! (Though I think they look pretty awesome.; I've always been a fan of dragons)

It goes along with more voiceovers of main characters while the camera pans over statues representing the house sigils of the prominent families (wolves, lions, stags, etc). You then catch a bright green glimpse of the wildfire that made a huge impact in the season finale last year; pretty much sealing the fate of Cersi Lannister as queen of the 7 kingdoms.

A piece of one of the most powerful quotes from last season is voiced over, Dany comparing all the families to spokes on a wheel (I am still a huge supporter of Danerys and house Targaryn, I believe she will be a great ruler of the 7 kingdoms if given the chance).

Jon Snow gets the last words, commenting about how the Great War is finally here (as the camera pans over the symbol in the snow and then pans out until you see the White Walkers eye). To me this hints that the war with the white walkers is what Jon was referring to as the Great War but that's just me.

What do you think of the new trailer?? I thought it was a little short in my opinion but then again, I was super happy to finally have a premiere date for it! So I guess 1 minute and 30 seconds is enough for now..... let me know what you think in the comments, I'm always up for a good exchange of ideas!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
