Everyone enjoys having some much needed time off after the holidays to just enjoy the winter. Grab some close friends, your winter coat, a cozy blanket, and your kitchen gear too and enjoy this winter break bucket list!

1. Have a movie day.

Cuddle up with a few friends and turn on Netflix. Have a day dedicated to watching all your favorite movies. Pop some popcorn, grab a few drinks and enjoy a relaxing day in front of the TV.

2. Go ice skating.

Ice skating is one of my favorite things to do in the winter time. If you're not very good like me just make sure you have a partner to hold you up when you fall.

3. Bake.

Baking in the winter time is always so much fun. It leaved an amazing aroma in our homes and also a great taste in our mouths.

4. Go sledding.

Sledding is fun no matter how old you are! Grab a sled or a tube and hit the hill! Best part is it doesn't take any skill!

5. Play board games.

Take yourself back to your childhood. Have a day dedicated to playing your favorite board games.

6. Shop.

Shopping is always fun but the most fun of all is the after holiday sales!

7. Build a snowman.

One of my favorite things about winter is the snow. Building snowmen is a tradition for me year after year.

8. Go in a hot tub.

Hot tubs are always amazing but hot tubs outside in the winter are just perfect.

9. Go to the aquarium.

The aquarium is a great place to avoid the cold for a little bit and check out some amazing ocean life.

10. Cook a good meal.

Cooking in the winter is just as much fun as baking. Put on that apron and make a delicious dish for your family and friends.

11. Pull an all nighter

Grab some good friends and stay up all night long!

12. Sleep all day

Maybe you'll want to plan this day for the day after your all nighter. Take a day to just stay in bed and relax.

13. Take lots of pictures

It's always key to document all the amazing memories you make during break so make sure you carry around that camera so you can look back at all the fun things you do throughout the break.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
