Even if your only goal is to win, it's not the most important thing.
No matter if you are on a sports team, a sales representative at a business, or even just a normal student trying to get through school: it's OK if you lose at life sometimes. Something or someone will always pick you right back up to try again. Do not give up on yourself. You were put on this planet to do something amazing, and the best didn't get their by chance. They failed and succeeded plenty of times. Now, it's your turn.
It's your turn to show everyone what you got, even if the last time you showed them the least of it. Put the past behind you, because there is nothing you can do about it now.
So what if people talk about it? So what if your mistakes are the gossip of the week? So what if people don't take you seriously for a while? SO FREAKING WHAT. Do not let those people get inside of your head. You know what you are made of, you know what you are capable of, and you know how to get there.
You have to lose in order to appreciate the times you win. You have to lose small battles to win the war.
Don't blame someone else for your failure. Instead, find the mistake, correct it, and fight like hell the next chance you get. What else do you have to lose?
Nothing. That's what you have to lose.
"To be a champion, I think you have to see the big picture. It's not about winning and losing; it's about every day hard work and about thriving on a challenge. It's about embracing the pain that you'll experience at the end of a race and not being afraid. I think people get too hard and get afraid of a certain challenge." -Summer Sanders
