It’s no secret that Taylor Swift has had her fair share of feuds. Katy Perry, Kanye West, and John Mayer are just a few of the celebrities who have fallen victim to Taylor’s undeniable wit, charm and charisma. Despite the criticism she may face, she always seems to make things right and come out on top. Ever wonder how she does it?

Here are the top 10 best ways to win any argument, Taylor Swift style.

1. “Speak Now”

Taylor is never afraid to speak up and share her opinion. It’s always better to get your feelings off your chest and speak now, rather than hold your peace and let your negative feelings take over. She speaks up through song writing and confronting those who’ve hurt her.

2. “Tell Me Why”

Always ask for an explanation. The only true way to resolve an argument is to hear the other person’s point of view. For all you know, you could be arguing about two completely different things! Clarity is key.

3. “Band-Aids Don’t Fix Bullet Holes”

A simple apology can’t always fix an argument. Actions speak louder than words. It’s up to you and the person you’re arguing with to prove to each other that you’re truly sorry.

4. “I Knew You Were Trouble When You Walked In"

Taylor sees the good in people. She’s given second chances to people who most likely haven’t deserved them. The best way to avoid getting hurt more than once by the same person is to trust your judgment. If someone doesn’t seem to be a good person, then you may be better off without them.

5. “All You Are Is Mean”

Taylor’s famous lyrics, “Someday I’ll be living in a big old city and all you’re ever gonna be is mean,” are wise words. Usually, mean people are unsatisfied with themselves. So, keep your head up and ignore the negativity.

6. “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”

Sometimes the best way to end an argument is to end an unhealthy relationship. Constantly fighting back and forth is only going to make your relationship weaker.

7. “You Belong With Me”

On the other hand, it’s never good to give up on something amazing because of a silly fight. The right people are worth fighting for, not fighting with. Admitting your faults and showing you care about the person you’re fighting with might just solve all of your problems.

8. ”There’s Nothing I Do Better Than Revenge”

As Taylor’s proven over and over again, success is truly the best revenge. There’s nothing sweeter than coming out of an argument stronger than before. Don’t dwell on a past relationship or fight. Move on and become the best person you can be.

9. “Begin Again”

Each argument is a learning experience. While an argument can hurt at the time, you’ll be thankful later, because it’ll make you wiser. Remember that it’s never too late to start over with an old friend and to make things even better.

10. “SHAKE IT OFF"

Don’t sweat the small stuff. Most of the time, any argument can be resolved with a positive attitude. Let go of the past and move forward. Haters may hate, but your real friends will love you, no matter what happens!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
