As the second round of the playoffs wraps up how does the future look for the Toronto Raptors and the challenge of passing Lebron James? Toronto looked like they had the team this year coming in as the number one seed and having the best record in the Eastern Conference yet getting swept again by what looked like a struggling team in Cleveland.
I Mean It's Called Lebronto for a reason...
In the most recent series between the Cavs (Lebron) and Toronto, the Raptors' star players (Demar Derozen and Kyle Lowry) combined for 138 points while Lebron accounted for 136 and hit a buzzer-beater for the win in game three.
Everyone is trolling Drake, using his own lyrics such as "I turn the 0-2 to 0-3" and changing the song to "Bron's Plan" instead of God's Plan. The relevance of this is clear because Drake is a Toronto native and is courtside at almost every game.
Unstoppable...
Lebron James in his career is now 12-2 in the playoffs against Toronto and not to mention his impressive record of 41-10 in the regular season against Toronto. The Cavs star has always had success against the Raptors even since 2006 when James became the youngest player to score 50+ points in a game against Toronto. He has continued to dominate from his time in Cleveland to his time in Miami and continuing in back in Cleveland once again.
Toronto's playoff problem seems to be Lebron who has carried his team to sweep them in back to back years. In game 1 of this year's series, the king recorded a triple-double while scoring 26 points. In game 2 he put up 43 points, 14 assists, and 3 rebounds. In game 3 he scored 38 points and had a buzzer-beater, and in game 4 he scored another 29 points while finishing 2 rebounds short of a triple-double.
Statistically, it looks as if Toronto won't be able to make it past Lebron, therefore, its in the Raptors' best interest tnat Lebron will head to the western conference this summer becaise clearly King James ages like fine wine.
