We Will Never Cross Paths With Everyone On Planet Earth

Woah, we are floating in space on a globe?

We Will Never Cross Paths With Everyone On Planet Earth

Do you ever wonder about the universe? What is above you? How you are a person on a globe that floats in space? Well, I know I do. Sometimes I just have those days where I am driving in the car thinking about the world and how it works. How we are people who each live our own individual lives that are different from every other soul on the planet and how each and every moment we live, someone else could be suffering, getting a new job, winning the lottery, or meeting their soul mate.

It is honestly crazy to think about how I am just one person out of billions of people that surround me on planet Earth. Each day for each one of us is different. We people do not live the same lives as the one's around us - we don't know the conversations and the words that come out of others mouths. Our friendships are all different and even if we think we have tons of friends, in reality there are billions of people out there that we do not know and will never in our lives cross paths with.

Whenever this thought comes to my brain I honestly get weirded out. I am not just talking about how we all live different lives and will never ever have the chance to meet the one's that we share this planet with. We are on Earth. Earth is floating in the universe and around us is an entire terrestrial of planets, moons and solar systems. Yes, with research and science we have a broad understanding of what is around planet Earth but at the same time WE ARE ON A PLANET, FLOATING IN THE UNIVERSE.

Think about it; I know it is odd and the thought of it is beyond my comprehension but us humans are all on the same Earth. No matter how hard we try to reduce global warming or recycle more, this planet will never be cured. Unless all of the billions of people come together and are on the same page as every other human then maybe things that effect planet Earth in a negative way will become better. Considering we are all on different pages, think differently, have our own values, opinion and beliefs, this most likely will never happen.

We people come together and form a melting pot. With the uniqueness each life brings to the world, we will never be as smart as one another or as wise as everyone around us. The knowledge each unique person has in the back of their brains will never be the same. We can always have the ability to grow smarter and learn.

This world has given me and continues to give me opportunities of a lifetime, friends, family, and experiences but no matter how hard I try to think, I will always find it fascinating and beyond odd that we are on a globe in the middle of space. We speak, have our own lives, make livings and will never cross paths with every single person on this planet ever.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
