Taylor Alison Swift has always been one of my biggest role models growing up. A lot of people would be like, ew, why? And here's why...
She is the bravest music artist in my opinion because of how much of her life she puts out for the world to see and judge her. Yes, this is inevitably going to happen because she is a famous person and of course her life is going to be put out there for everyone to see, but for some reason I feel like she is someone is comfortable in her own skin and is willing to share her personal life with her fans and even her haters out there.
We always know who she's dating, which for some infuriating reason people have so much to say about this.
SHE IS ALLOWED TO DATE AS MANY PEOPLE AS SHE WANTS.
She's in her 20s for crying out loud, she can be selfish and do what she wants because that's what growing up is all about, this doesn't make her a "slut" or a "whore" for doing so.
She's a loving person and when has that ever been a bad thing?
Another thing I admire the most about her is how powerful her music is. The way she is able to get across every emotion into her songs is something I will always be mindblown about. Every song she puts out just shows us more of who she is and how much she is changing as a person. From her very first album, Taylor Swift to her most recent album, "Reputation." A lot of people always say how much they miss the "old" Taylor but for me, I've loved every single version of Taylor just because you can see how much this industry has impacted her life in good and bad ways. Part of being human is evolving and I think she is evolving into someone who doesn't give any f*cks about what people think of her anymore.
I'm sorry, but the old Taylor can't come to the phone right now.
So, thank you, Taylor Swift, for being someone people can look up too. You are truly an amazing inspiration to myself and millions of other people. Stay beautiful.
XOXO
